Payment Terms
Last updated 2026-10-10. Working draft for the product as shipped — have counsel review before relying on it in a customer contract.
Notice hash 19e6e344ff2c… · v5
These Payment Terms explain how Tekvo Synergy Private Limited charges for interviews, how Razorpay collects payment, and what personal data that involves. They apply to customers (recruiters and organisations), not to candidates sitting an interview.
The merchant of record for Razorpay Checkout is Tekvo Synergy Private Limited, CIN U62020TN2024PTC169811, registered office C/o Kalaiselvi, 53/2, Keelaiyur, Melur, Madurai, Tamil Nadu 625106, India. Checkout shows that registered name.
This is a versioned notice. Checkout is blocked until a workspace owner or admin acknowledges the current published hash after a material change. This draft is not legal advice and is not a GST, RBI, or DPDPA certification.
What you buy
Hireflo sells a 30-minute interview for USD 5 and a 60-minute interview for USD 9. One purchase is one session — a mock for you, or a scored interview for a candidate. There is no free allowance and no credit pack. The public prices are listed on /pricing. The amount charged is the amount shown in Razorpay Checkout for that order, in that order’s currency.
There are no physical goods and no shipping. Delivery is digital access to the session in the workspace.
Who is charged
The organisation (or individual purchaser) that owns the workspace pays. Candidates are not charged by Hireflo for a scored interview their employer invited.
Payment method (Razorpay)
Payments are collected by Razorpay (Razorpay Software Private Limited), a payment aggregator, on Hireflo’s instructions. Checkout may offer cards, UPI, net banking, wallets, or other methods Razorpay enables for our merchant account.
Hireflo does not collect, store, or process full card numbers, CVV, card PINs, or UPI credentials. Those stay with Razorpay (PCI DSS). We store only what we need to run the account: organisation id, plan code, order id, payment id, amount, currency, status, coarse method (for example upi or card), and timestamps.
If Razorpay is not listed as an enabled processor, or your organisation has opted out, checkout will not start.
When you are charged
You are charged when Razorpay reports the payment as captured for the order we created. We verify the payment with Razorpay’s API and a signature. We do not trust a browser-reported amount or a client-only “success” flag. The session is added only after that server-side capture.
Each interview is a one-time Razorpay order. Automatic recurring mandates are not enabled until a later notice version says so.
Prices, currency, and tax
The listed prices are USD 5 for a 30-minute interview and USD 9 for a 60-minute interview. The Razorpay order states the charge currency and amount (smallest currency unit). If Hireflo is required to collect Indian GST or another tax, it will appear on the invoice or at checkout. Until a GST registration is recorded by counsel/finance, the checkout amount is the amount we attempt to collect.
We will publish a new payment_terms version before a material price change takes effect for existing customers, and we will require acknowledgement before the next paid checkout.
Invoices and records
Successful captures are recorded against your organisation. Owner, admin, and auditor roles may view payment ids and amounts in the workspace. Ask inquiry@tekvo.io if you need a GST invoice once finance issues them.
Failed, delayed, or disputed payments
If Razorpay does not capture the payment, the session is not added. If a charge succeeds and is later reversed (chargeback, failure after capture), we may remove unused sessions or suspend paid features for that organisation until the account is settled. Do not file a chargeback to skip the Refund Policy; contact us first.
Personal data (DPDPA / GDPR)
For billing, Hireflo is the data fiduciary / controller. We process recruiter name, email, organisation name, and payment identifiers (order id, payment id, status) to take payment, prevent fraud, keep accounts, and meet tax/accounting duties.
Lawful bases we rely on as a platform (until counsel records otherwise): performance of the contract to sell interviews; legitimate interests / legitimate uses for security and fraud; and legal obligation for tax records. We still show this notice before checkout.
Candidates’ recordings and transcripts are not sent to Razorpay.
Retention of billing records
Payment identifiers and invoices are kept for the accounting period required by applicable tax and company law (often longer than interview media). Consent and notice hashes are kept as evidence. We do not keep card PAN.
Your rights
Recruiter billing data: email inquiry@tekvo.io (access, correction, erasure where the law allows — we may retain transaction records we are required to keep). Candidate interview rights remain with the hiring organisation and /candidate-rights.
Grievance
First response target is 7 days at inquiry@tekvo.io. A named Grievance Officer will appear in a later version when counsel records one (open question L8).
Changes to these terms
Corrections are a new immutable version with a new content_hash. We do not edit a published body in place. When a version that requires customer acknowledgement is published, workspaces see an in-app notice and cannot start Razorpay Checkout until an owner or admin acknowledges that hash.
